Writing

This week my group the smarties were writing a poem and you could do one about your family, sadness or a basketball, I did basketball and made it into netball...

The Netball
The netball is a rocket,
shooting past the players
searching for the hoop.
The netball is like a blood stream
pumping everyone up
racing round the court.
The netball is as round as an eyeball,
as it watchs everyone come running as fast as a cheetah
the whistle blows everyone comes to a halt.
TIME.

    I really liked the part about the netball shooting past the players searching for the hoop - it's a great image.
    Super ending too. TIME says it all really - well done (:
