Look -It looked golden brown and very cheesy, and lumpy but not in a bad way and yellow from the egg. It looked like a pizza muffin. It also came off the paper nicely and didn't stick, and also looked like scrambled eggs in the middle.

Taste -You could really tasted the capsicen, and the beans, so next time we should put less in.  They tasted a bit like scrambled eggs but in a good way. The flavor bersted in our mouth, you could taste the onion, we had lots of veggies but they didn't take over

Smelt - It smelt like a savory omletie kind of scrambled eggs, Smelt kind of sweet, from the capsicen and onion.

Texture -It had a scrambled texture n your mouth and it was soft and perfectly cooked, lumpy from the veges.

What went well -Worked as a team, and we chopped up the veggies nice and small just not to small, We cooked them well so that they were golden brown on the top and nicely yellow and spongy in the middle, when it came to cleaning the dishes we all helped and made it fair.

What need to improve on -adding less beans and putting more meat in like a bit of ham or something, also needs a bit more salt and pepper, and put a bit less in the muffins and serve them warm.

    Butterfly muffins
Today we were making muffins for the arts festival tonight and the kickstarters, thats us, we also did chocolate butterfly muffins, and they were very popular, Trinity , hollie and I did the butterfly muffins the first batch we forgot the coco so they were just plan muffins, we had to do another batch, we doubled the second batch and added coco, we doubled the batch so it would make more. The plan butterfly muffins were mini ones but the chocolate ones were normal size. We had so much fun cooking it and showing off what we can do. If we make these again we will try to remember the coco.

    Look, Tasted...
They were soft and smooth, and golden brown on the top.
When you bite into them they were light and soft, our muffins were very yellow because they had big free range eggs.
They tasted so good and when you have one you can not stop.

    2.Maddy
It looked golden brown and crispy.
You could really smell the apple but not really the lemon because there was only half a lemon in it.
soft and smooth on the top, but it was a bit gooey and sticky in the middle.
It lasted really nice with the apple because it didn’t overpower it but you can still taste it but we need a bit more lemon it in.

I enjoyed making these muffins today because they were full of flavor. I was Sheree's partner and in our muffins we had ham, cheese, and the other normal ingredients. Our muffins smelt fresh, warm and cheesy. They looked lightly golden with little green bits from the paisley. Also they tasted like cheese and you could taste a little bit of paisley when you bit into the middle of a piece. My favorite part about making this practical was being able to swap with other people at the end and seeing if theirs turned out like ours!!

Today we had our last attempt to make omelets. It went really well! We enjoyed making them because they tasted like a real omelet. It wasn't too cheesy, or too hard to flip or anything else like that, so that made it a success. Also we changes the recipe a little bit, here's our edited recipe.
    7 eggs
I grind of salt and peeper
    3 Table spoons of milk
    Half and onion
Half a cup of corn - Off the cob
    Four snips of broccoli
    Four strips of bacon
    Half a cup of cheese
    _____________________________________________________

    Appearance
It looked very yellow because of all the cheese and we will need some more greens in it because all we had was pasley.

    Aroma
It smelt very rich with cheese, was warm and steamy.

    Texture
It was chewy because of the cheese and soft and not slimy but it fell apart in your mouth.

    Flavor
It was very sweet / rich, it was nice but I the onion and butter made it a bit sweet so next time we need to put less butter in the pan.

How could you improve your performance and skills?
We could practice flipping things in the pan

we have all the Grow grow glow and go
because we have milk for the go and parsley for the glow, grow for cheese and grow for eggs.

How could our product be improved?
We need to get better at flipping it because when we flipped it, it broke.

Smell - You can really smell the cinnamon and apple in ours, and you could really smell the yogurt.

Looked -  one of them looked yellow because it had no cinnamon and the other one looked brown because it was the one with the cinnamon, and it looked nice and shinny with the goldensyrup  on the top.

Taste - In the brown one you can really taste the cinnamon and then in the yellow one all you can taste in the apple so they both good, and the yogurt makes it taste even better

What we did well - I think that we did we did a good job cooking the pancakes because they are nice and thin and big, plus we had the right amount of butter to flip the pancake.

What we can do better next time - Next time I think that maybe we could have a little less cinnamon because with to much you can't really taste the apple.

Today our group re-trialed our pancakes to work on our presentation, and see if we could add the fruit to the mixture and we succeeded! We tried apple as well as mixed berries. We grated the apples, and mashed/diced the mixed berries. We think that they went better than last week because last week we put the fruit on top instead of in the mixture!
What went well about today and our pancakes?
We all enjoyed making them as well as eating them. Also we had a bit of an experiment with the mixed berries because in the first batch we diced them and it didn't look so welcoming, so in the second batch we decided to mash them and they tasted so smooth!
What didn't go so well with our pancakes today?
They were a little bit soft, so maybe to solve that next time we could cook them a little bit longer, other than that our pancakes were perfect!

Just this afternoon T.A came to talk to our group about health breakfasts. She told us what we could have to include to make our breakfast healthy, she also gave us some examples like, go, grow and glow!! Our group enjoyed having her because if she hadn't come to talk to us, our breakfasts wouldn't be classed as healthy. Also she gave us some great tips on what to look for on the breakfast boxes. She also have us some posters to desplay:

    TIP
Looking for a healthy breakfast? Cheek the back of the breakfast box for these things:
Cheek for sugar - under 15g
Cheek for fat - under 10g
Cheek for fiber - Plus 5g

Over the past couple of weeks we have sent surveys out to the Marama syndicate so see what fillings/foods the want us to sell for breakfast/lunch. Once we had gathered all the results we searched for good healthy recipes. Today we went to the collage to test our first recipe out...Pancakes! They were so delicious! They had a nice golden tinge on them and we gave s two to some people to try them out and they said they would definitely buy them off us if we were to sell them. We put gold syrup and plain yogurt on them as well as fruit. They had no sugar in them what so ever so that means we could possibly add a little golden syrup on the top, just to make it look pretty.
    Pancake Evaluation:
What went/was well about our pancakes? None of them got burnt and they were a nice golden color. Also everyone that tasted our pancakes said that they were nice and they couldn't even tell that there was no sugar involved.

What didn't go so well while we were making our pancakes?
We can only have a little bit of syrup on our pancakes because if we have too much then it becomes unhealthy again. Also we need to improve on our presentation otherwise it may put some clean eaters off.

    What are our next steeps?
Our next steeps would be to work on the presentation of our pancakes so they are easy to eat-(Not sticky) Alos next week we will be making savory scones.

    This year for Ngatea

What is the problem/need/ or opportunity I have identified?  Who are the stakeholders?
That some kids aren't eating lunch or breakfast at school or at home, and we need to try and help them to eat at school. Also a lot of kids are choosing unhealthy choices, so we need to find yummy but healthy food to serve.

This is our design brief
