Swimming sports

On Monday we had swimming sports and I did the clothes race because it is my last year I think I got 7th.
I am house leader with connor for swimming sports I did freestyle, breaststrock and backstrock I got a 3rd in backstrock.
I was also in the relay for 12+ girls.

The weekend

On Friday we went to coromandel with mum and dad and James came to and we went to the beach and had a swim, we also went shopping and I got a hat, some jandals and  I made an anklet, its really cool it blue, red and yellow.
That day dad, James and rob went fishing, they court a lot of fish.

Yesturday we finished up some short films me and some others made.......

What I am looking forward to this year

This year I am looking forward to NYLD and camp my dad is coming to camp and we are doing J rock this year (YAY) I hope I get a part and a good part.

This year is my last year I hope its my best year because we have the year 8 water fight and we go to rainbows end.

Weekly reflection

Week 2 term 1


This week we got tested for maths and writing and I am it group M for writing and maths. On Wednesday we had no school so Courtney, Yvonne and Lucy came for the day and we went swimming in our pool and had pizza for lunch. On Thursday we had tech and I am in Lucy and Yvonne's group (YAY) and we are doing video with Mr O’Neil today. I am finishing my 'This is me' poem.

Waihi beach / best thing in the holidays

In the holidays I went to Waihi beach with Courtney and we made a really really big hole and I hide in it from Courtney, we also played in the water and I took my boggy board and we went out really deep in the water, later on we went down to the stream  and we made all kinds of things, that night I was so tied and I went to sleep so fast that night.

First post this year

In December before Eden left to Queenstown we got family photos it was my idea we got them done at home and on someone's farm and we got them put onto a CD but we got two copy's one for use and one for Eden. Every now and again we skype her.

N-rock

Last night it was N-rock...

P- I did what I was meet to in N-rock and I was in time, I got to do peoples face paint.
M - When it was the bit when all the girls from my bit came out I was last because the basketballer's  were in my way so I couldn't get out in time :( .
I- It went for a hour and a half but it felt like it went really fast and it finished at 9:15.

TECH

Last day of tech was today and we finished our pencil case and we got to take our pencil case home and our bag and we have two more weeks left at school YAY!!!

A day in room 3
On the 19th of November it was athalices but I didn’t go so me and sheridan went to room 3 for the day it was a lot fun I got to take some little people out for reading and we got to watch there N-rock and it is so cute.

weekly reflection

This week in room 8 I started on my art it is mickey mouse and Minnie mouse holding hands it is hard to do but the way we have to do in is a lot easer.

In room 9 I have finished my adventurism and I have enjoyed doing N-rock we are starting to finish the encourager part in the dance it is really cool trista my teacher made up the end on our bit.
In room 7 I got all my MDR marked and finished and we had athletics and in high jump my highest was one meter I missed the meter 5 and at at athletics we played soccer with two balls my team won it was really fun.

Queens town

A long time ago well not really but
last holidays my family went to Queens
town and there were
some really cool skys in the morning
and at night.

It's the first week back at term it is now term 4.
We have already started on athletics tanning at school.
this week we have started reading in room nine I am reading there's a girl in the boys bathroom and for my reading mileage book I am reading the chimney corner collection it is a really cool book in room eight we are doing magazin's.

Weekly reflection

Room 8 - This week I did more on my art and I am finished.
Room 9 - Me, Lucy, Courtney, Ben and Jamie are making up the dance moves for N-rock.
Room 7 - I got all my maths finished today so I don't get a red card.
Next term it is calf club and I am taking a lamb it is a boy and it's name in bap.
It was my birthday on tuesday and on saturday I am having a party Lucy, Yvonne, courtney and taelor are coming.

Fairytales


Hi my name is Madison and I am here to talk to you about fairy tales yes thats right fairy tales. And I think I might start with the questions and I know what you are thinking, but trust me this speech will get you up on your seats waving your hands but I guess if I am going to say a speech I better start now.

So how many people watch the movies or the TV shows?
Well Did you know that More than 200 million people a year watch a Disney films or home videos, 395 million watch a Disney TV show every week, 212 million listen to Disney music, Fairy tales were never meant for children. they were made for adults not us but look whos reading them now that's right children.

So what are fairy tales you ask well it is a story that isn’t real and it has been around for a long long time, some of you guys are going around saying that the smurfs are a fairy tale but I am sorry to burst your bubble but it isn’t because it has been around for a long time well no it hasn’t.

Ok so say you still don’t know what a fairy tale is so I will put it this way imagine we are in a fairytale right now we would be in a book a TV show or in a movie and none of this would be happening in real life because a fairy tale is not true anyone heard of snow white that is a fairy tale because it isn’t true.

I’m guessing you're getting bored of the questions so we will now move on to true or false and to start it of is and fairy tale something that is real? come on it should be easy we just talked about this you should know this one oh my gosh  fine I guess I will just have to tell you now!!!
